“Too good to throw away” is one aspect in the discussion of the art work of the exhibitors here. Clothes and laundry materials, foils, papers, wood and metal panels, everything suitable is recycled. Favourite family pieces, leftovers from the studio; external found objects but also completely new material without traces. It is changed and combined, patched and destroyed, modified with a lot of emotion as well as with clear construction. And where the materials do not already have a suitable colour that has been found to be good, colour is applied – or partially removed again. The artworks thus created hardly reveal their past, remain mysteries, but always a new autonomous image that fascinates us.
